About the event
The JLGLM is participating in the Understanding Racism workshop. This life-changing, congregation-changing, and city-changing experience has as its goals
To see and learn about racism in a new and redemptive way
To gain insights into systemic racism through the eyes of faith and Scripture
To see more of the connections between history and contemporary race relations
To identify organizing opportunities to "eliminate racism, both causes and effects, within the body of believers and throughout the world."
To create a community of faithful anti-racists in Lansing.
This workshop is being offered for a registration fee of only $50. Scholarships are available. Generous sponsors have allowed us to offer the workshop at a greatly reduced price (typical registration fees are $400/person without sponsorship).
