Delta-Waverly Rotary Foundation

The Delta-Waverly Rotary Foundation (DWR Foundation) provides funding for the DWR Club’s humanitarian outreach activities that provide a positive impact within Delta Township and the Greater Lansing area, as well as participation in international projects in collaboration with other Rotary Clubs.  Its activities are inspired by Rotary’s maxim of “Service above Self” and guided by the goals and priorities of Rotary International and Rotary District 6360.

• Weekend Food Backpack Program (Waverly Schools)

• Christmas Gifts for Children at Risk of No Gifts (Waverly Schools)

• Annual Veterans Day Celebration

• Scholarships for local graduating high school seniors

• AED Save-life Project.(with Delta Township Fire Department) 

• Fire Prevention Event (with Delta Township Fire Department)

• Delta Township Senior Citizen Care Project

• Ele’s Place Library Renovation & Student Tuition support

• Delta Township District Library

• Woldumar Nature Center

• International service projects (e.g., Scholarship support for female high school students in Uganda)

• Collaborative international service projects with fellow Rotary Clubs (e.g., clean water projects, home building/renovation projects)
