Tickets are now available for the Fourth Annual Fall Celebration & Fundraiser for the Justice League of Greater Lansing Michigan!

It's the time to celebrate our achievements and reflect on how we are impacting the community -- and you! We appreciate your support as we work to repair the breach. We want to promote healing and normalize the word "reparations." Did you know we are becoming a model for a successful, faith-based reparations program beyond Greater Lansing?

At the Fall Celebration, guest speaker Nakia Parker, Ph.D., will address “Unfinished Freedom: Black Struggles for Belonging and Justice.”

Dr. Parker is an accomplished historian of 19th-century U.S. slavery, African American life, and American Indian life. She is assistant professor at MSU in the Department of History and is an affiliated faculty member in the MSU American Indian and Indigenous Studies Program. We are honored she is a member of the Justice League Board of Directors as well as our Advisory Council. She serves on the Council’s Scholarship Subcommittee.

Our friend Sophia Saliby, with WKAR Public Media, will moderate a conversation with Willye Bryan and Prince Solace about the Justice League’s journey. Sophia's 2024 story about the Justice League for the local "All Things Considered" was aired nationally. We heard from people across the country who were interested in our faith-based reparations program!

We're looking forward to Jackson Allen sharing his talent as a pianist. He's the son of board member Sarah Allen. Jackson often plays at Community of Christ – Capital Area Congregation.

Dinner is by Gregory's Soul Food.

Please consider making your annual reparations payment, contribution or pledge when registering or at the event. The event cost is covered by ticket sales, $35 each.
