My professional background provides perspective on health equity and systemic change. As the Health Equity & Social Justice Coordinator for the Ingham County Health Department, I lead efforts to address the root causes of population health outcomes and collaborate with diverse stakeholders to implement systems improvements. This is underpinned by an M.S. in Human & Social Services with a specialization in Conflict Management & Negotiation, ensuring I approach complex organizational issues and diverse viewpoints with a framework for consensus-building. I am a seasoned public servant and former City Council member for the City of East Lansing, I bring a proven track record of policy development, fiscal responsibility, and community advocacy to the board.
